December 14, 2009. I am writing on behalf of the ITT Systems Holiday Party Committee to express our gratitude to you and your staff for the excellent customer service we received for this year's holiday party.

As you must be aware, 2009 marked the 10th consecutive year that ITT Systems held their holiday party at your establishment. While we have always enjoyed a high level of service from your staff, this year was an especially memorable experience. Every detail was managed with expertise and offered up in a friendly, helpful and warm manner.

We are particularly appreciative of Bliss, Itala, Fahmi, Ken Delgado and Chef David. The majority of our interfaces were with this group of people. Bliss provided professional event planning and coordination. Itala and Fahmi ensured that setup occurred early and accurately (which helped us immensely). Ken communicated with the committee throughout the evening of our event, and Chef David provided a masterfully created menu for our enjoyment. The result of this group's efforts was a successful event in which we received very positive feedback from company president and staff. Service this high deserves to be recognized which compelled us to write this letter.

November 11, 2009. I was married at your hotel on November 11th. The service provided by your staff exceeded our expectations. Everyone was very professional, friendly and helpful. Anything we asked for was taken care of promptly. Melissa Gonyea worked with me on setting up the ceremony and the reception. The staff that was assigned to the event was excellent. We have received numerous compliments from those who attended the wedding and will gladly recomment the Crowne Plaza and Melissa to all of our friends. We wanted to recognize Melissa for her hard work by letting her employers know how pleased we were with the event.  Thanks again.

September 30, 2009. On behalf of those who attended the FDA Leadership Development Conference held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Colorado Springs on July 28-31, 2009, thank you very much for your outstanding support of our conference.  The conference was a success in many important ways thanks to the great accommodations and service that we received from you and the hotel.

First, we appreciated the ability to switch meeting rooms at the last minute.  That was a big help.  In addition, we found the hotel to be very flexible in how the meeting room was arranged, which met our needs better.

The catered food was wonderful too.  Although we didn't arrange the reception, it was a very nice event.  And I heard many nice comments about the sleeping rooms.  The bottom line is that we were very pleased with all aspects of the hotel and genuinely believe that we received exceptional value compared to other hotels in the area.  I would recomment your hotel for other similar conferences.

5 Sep 09. We would like to talke this opportunity to THANK YOU and the CROWNE PLAZA STAFF for an outstanding job provided to our Military Reunion Function 12-16 Aug 09.  Even though our function was not as large as the Corvette Convention (1,000 attendees) and the Harrison High School Reunion with over 300 attendees conducted at teh same time your staff never faltered with the exceptional customer service.  Your staff came and checked on us several times throughout the days and they were very responsive to our needs.  This was very impressive.  It is tough for people like me who have never hosted a function to know exactly what A/V support we will "truly" need.  Your A/V team was phenomenal.  Marco was very alert and receptive to our last minute needs.

Compliments cannot be high enough for Executive Chef, Mr. David Terrell who made our special food request of Paella which was praised by all especially a Spaniard who is accustomed to making Paella. The Chef even created some of the best homemade sangria that we have ever had.  Kudos to him.  Then, as old military men that worked together in Spain from 1957-1961, our mouths watered when someone would mention SoS.  We worked with the Sous Chef, Mr. Anthony Neal and once again we were not disappointed.  He knew exactly what we wanted and knew what he was doing.  What a first class Chef.  Every time we spoke with the Dining Room Manager, Fahmi Sukhan, about our special menu requests, he always stated "I want to provide you with the best food and service possible within your budget."  And I can assure you that he and his team did just that.

There were so many of your team members that helped us one way or another; however many thanks to the following: Tracey Hampton, Director of Sales; Megan Butler, Meeting Manager; Rick Rhody, Meeting Director; David Terrell, Executive Chef; Anthony Neal, Sous Chef; Fahmi Sukhan, Director of Food & Beverage; Heather Smalley, Reservations Coordinator.  We highly recomment the Crowne Plaza to any prospective client.  They will not be disappointed.

July 18, 2009. We just wanted to let your management know what an outstanding job Melissa Gonyea did planning our reception. From the beginning in the initial planning stages she was most accommodating which convinced us the Crowne Plaza was our first choice. Not only did she make helpful suggestions throughout our planning, but she working within our budget which made us very comfortable. Melissa went out of her way when it came to the taste testing and even introduced us to your Chef, which made us feel at ease regarding our three option buffet dinner. Melissa went out of her way in all aspects of planning the reception. She is a true asset to your organization and we hope that you realize how valuable she is to you. We own a business and we feel in today's world it is difficult to find hard working, dedicated individuals. Melissa is an important part of your hotel and we would not hesitate to endorse you to other people and organizations, thanks to her!

September 26, 2008. My wife and I were hosts of the 12th C-1-7 Korea, 1st Marine Division Reunion Sept 11th - Sept 14th. We'd like you to know how pleased we were with your hotel staff, waiters, waitresses, banquet managers and desk staff. We would be remiss if we didn't single out Megan Butler who went out of her way to make our venues unique. You can be very proud of her.

Our members thoroughly enjoyed their stay and had many good things to say about the hotel, food and the kindness of the employees. July 12, 2008. I just wanted to say how pleased Esperanza and I were with our wedding reception. Everything came together perfectly and our expectations were far exceeded. The food was terrific and the wait staff and bartender pleasant. Everybody complemented on how great everything was and what a good time they had.

We wanted to say a special thanks to Melissa. We really enjoyed working with her and greatly appreciated all of her help. She was incredibly flexible to make sure all details and wishes were met and did it all very willingly and professionally. She was persistent and punctual with everything but never came off bothersome or abrasive. That is a hard balance to find in the customer service industry, and she deserves complements and recognition for her outstanding work. Thanks for making our wedding day special and we look forward to speaking wiht you again in the future.

July 2008. Thank you for accommodating IHG during the July CMD Boot Camp Training. It was a pleasure to host this event at such a great hotel.  I also thank your staff for being instrumental in assisting with all the details, planning and execution of the event.
Rick Rhody, CMD, was extremely attentive.  He worked with me for months in detailing the program.  I was very impressed with his willingness to offer suggestions and go the extra mile.  I owe it to Rick for suggesting our offsite event that was a huge hit with the attendees.  He was very thorough and ensured that our event went off without a hiccup.  He is truly an asset to Crowne Plaza Colorado Springs hotel.
Brian Groben, Banquet Manager, was also a major contributor to the success of our event.  Brian was always around when I needed him, and was very willing and attentive during the execution of the program.  His staff was very focused on our hotel needs and provided excellent service. Our overall experience at your property was wonderful. Every staf member I had contact with, day or evening, was professional, friendly, and always willing to help out.  That really says a lot!
